Are you looking for a weekend tour of the local ice or a week in
the Rockies bagging the classic routes the area is famous for.
Pre-requisites: none - Master
The Novice
If you have never climbed before, this is a whirlwind tour of this
deranged sport. You will have the opportunity of climbing several
small routes of varying difficulties. Your instructor will be with
you coaching your every step. You will walk away from this day with
the knowledge to pass a gym belay course.

From Rock to Ice
You have had some experience the rock-climbing world. Now you want
to push it forward into realm of frozen water. In this course we
will focus on climbing technique and crampon work. We will look
at anchor construction. The goal of this course is to send you off
with skills to safely come back and set up your own top rope systems.
Pre-requisites: The Novice course, or previous rock climbing
Duration: 2 days
Leading on Ice
The focus this low ratio course is lead climbing. We will look at
protection placement and lead systems as well as the bombproof anchor
construction. Steep Ice technique and multi-pitch rope management
are key in the ice climbing progression. All of the above mixed
in with a little hazard recognition should leave you as a pretty
well rounded climber.
Pre-requisites: Lead climbing ability to 5.6/5.7, Previous ice climbing
experience.

Mixing it Up
This one-day course will bring you up to snuff with modern mixed
climbing techniques. We will look at equipment and technique used
in the new game of mixed climbing. What new hazards develop once
you move onto rock with all your ice climbing gear?
